CRIATURAS

Nessa série de fotos feitas na Lagoa do Portinho, no Piauí, busquei essas criaturas, esses seres que nos observam, que se mostram diferentes do que costumamos ver, mas que também nos remetem a formas naturais previamente conhecidas. São existências que convidam à identificação e ao pertencimento, mesmo que soem tão diferentes de nós. Acredito que criar essa identificação com essas criaturas é um bom meio de entender que elas são a natureza, nós somos elas.

In this series of photos taken at Lagoa do Portinho, in Piauí, I looked for these creatures, these beings that observe us, that are different from what we usually see, but that also remind us of previously known natural forms. These are existences that invite identification and belonging, even if they sound so different from us. I believe that creating this identification with these creatures is a good way to understand that they are nature, we are them.
